My Healing Story

I really want to help people.  That’s what I have been telling myself consciously since 12 years old. But how? How can I REALLY help people? 

​

Hear my story about healing various physical, emotional and mental health / stress and trauma-related issues through ten years of practicing mindfulness techniques and how I found and live the true purpose of my life: To deeply heal and inspire myself and others.

As Mahatma Gandhi once said,

“Strength does not come from a physical capacity,

it comes from an indomitable will.”

Technicalities of Self-Healing

​

The way that I have been able to deeply transform my life and heal myself from various serious stress-induced ailments has been first and foremost by learning how to practice self-love. Self love and compassion are the key to healing any physical, emotional or mental imbalance.  Did you ever read about Dr. Emoto's experiment with water crystals and human consciousness?

But how could I love myself?  How could I just accept all the bad things that happened to me, that I did to myself, or that were happening in the world? 

 

First, I needed to be AWARE (mindful) of what I actually thought and felt about myself (and others), and how I was treating myself (and others).  Our brains are wired to think, feel and act in certain ways that are majorly pre-programmed before birth, some parts programmed after birth and most of it accepted as unchanging fact.  

 

It's also not enough to just "know" or "be aware", though.  Once we become aware, we have to recondition our minds and bodies to think, feel and act in new, different and healthy ways.

This process is called "Brain Education".

​

 

BRAIN EDUCATION

​

Brain Education was developed as a self-healing system by Ilchi Lee over a 40-year career.  The foundation of this method is a combination of the ancient Korean mind-body practice of Sundo, his own personal experience of training himself and others, and insights from modern science.

​

Brain Education gives people the tools they need to "take back their brain"; to take ownership of their life. Rather than letting the brain unconsciously operate from disempowering information, bad habits, and limiting social norms, Brain Education helps people consciously choose what they want to be and become the master of their life.

​

The 5 Steps of Brain Education:

​

1. Brain Sensitizing: Awakening the body-brain senses

Physical energy and strength, enhanced focus, and mindful awareness.

 

2. Brain Versatilizing: Making the brain more flexible and adaptable 

Enhanced adaptability, creativity, and resilience.

 

3. Brain Refreshing: Freeing one’s brain from negative memories

Positive outlook, self confidence, and social interactions.

 

4. Brain Integrating: Integrating brain functions and unleashing potential

Ability to self-manage physical, emotional and mental health.

 

5. Brain Mastering: Enhanced executive control and faculty of imagination.

Realizing the power of ownership, choice, and creation in one’s life.
